PAUL & CAROLYN WHITE
2006 CAMPAIGN CO-CHAIRS
Carolyn White is a software support specialist at CQuest America/State of Illinois Department of Human Services in Springfield, Illinois a position she has held for two years. She worked for EMI Music from 2001 through June of 2003 as a Helpdesk Specialist and PC Technician and 14 years at Passavant Hospital as an Administrative Assistant and Helpdesk Specialist working with hospital personnel to assist them in using the computer technology available to them in the most efficient manner.
Carolyn was a certified court reporter for the State of Illinois. She has served on the Board of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Morgan County, and is a former member of the Parent Advisory Board of Our Savior Grade School.
Paul White joined Premier Bank in 1996 as Vice President and has served in a variety of roles throughout the last 10 years until being appointed as Premier Bank’s President and CEO in August of 2004.
Prior to his move to Premier, Paul worked for Elliott State Bank for 20 years and served in a variety of positions ending his career at Elliott as Vice President of Commercial Lending.
Paul is a 1973 graduate of Illinois College with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mathematics. He attended the Illinois Bankers Association School in Carbondale, Illinois and the Graduate School of Banking in Madison, Wisconsin.
Paul has been a member of the Jacksonville Area Chamber of Commerce for more than 25 years, and serves on their Agri-Industry Division. He served as the Agri-Business Committee Vice Chairman from 1998 to 1999. Paul joined the Chamber’s Contact Club in 2005. He is a member of the Jacksonville Rotary Club.
Paul served for several years as a member of the Visiting Nurses Association of Central Illinois and served as their President from 1989 through 1998. In 1998 he accepted a position on the Prairieland United Way Board of Directors. He served as the Small Business Division Co-chair, Community Division Chair, Rural Division Co-Chair and a Campaign Volunteer during his six years on the Board. Paul was Treasurer for two years and served on Allocation Panels for 8 years, chairing 3 different panels during that time. Paul left the Prairieland United Way Board after serving two full terms in the spring of 2006.
Paul & Carolyn have 2 daughters, Lisa Lash (husband Erin) of St. Peters, MO and Jill of Springfield, Illinois. They are members of the Church of Our Savior in Jacksonville.
