Prairieland United Way is a 90-plus year-old organization of community-minded people all working toward the common good. Funding is raised annually to support 28 human service programs in Morgan, Scott, Cass and northern Greene counties.
Funding decisions are made by community panels of concerned people who care about the well-being of others.

Many of the agencies that receive United Way funding are small, single-program agencies. The United Way staff provides support on administrative and program issues. Through the United Way office, agencies cooperatively develop programming in an effort to eliminate duplicative community efforts.
